I'm so pleased to share our newly published article “Systems approaches for uncovering mechanisms of structural racism impacting children’s environmental health and development” in a special issue of Early Childhood Research Quarterly.
I want to thank Stephanie Curenton, Iheoma Iruka, Jacqueline Sims, and Nneka Ibekwe-Okafor for their leadership in raising awareness – among researchers, policymakers, advocates, and health and education practitioners – about the effects of racism on the development of infants, toddlers, and preschoolers through this special issue and their own scholarship.
This moment couldn't be more timely!
