Environmental Science & Technology recently named "Cumulative Risk Evaluation of Phthalates Under TSCA" one of the best papers in 2023.
"Each year, the editors of ES&T carefully review all published articles to spotlight those that exemplify excellence and impact. This selection process is rigorous, focusing on quality, originality, and each paper's contribution to driving the field forward," the editors wrote in an announcement.
The paper, written by myself, Sulakkhana De Saram, and Deborah A. Cory-Slechta, delineates a Cumulative Risk Evaluation approach to help the EPA control existing chemicals under the Toxic Substance Control Act.
ES&T publishes an annual average of 1600 manuscripts spanning the globe. Our paper was named "first join runner-up" for the category Policy Analysis.
