I am honored to be this year's 2024 Environmental Health Career Award recipient, a prestigious honor recognizing nationally renowned environmental health experts.

Nominated by the American Public Health Association (APHA) Environment Section, I was completely surprised and deeply, deeply honored.

I spoke with student reporter Sumaya Abdel-Motagaly about this honor in a blog featured on the University of Maryland's School of Public Health’s website.
